Currently the insurance plans use are in a frequent state of flux. This is due to payor rules. We must have a copy of your card to determine your coverage.
Most of the time we are able to accept assignment from insurance.
The consequences of participating in a Medicare Advantage Plan can be disastrous to your healthcare and greatly diminish the length and quality of your life.
Patients joining Medicare are strongly encouraged to acquire a Medigap (Part G) coverage right when you turn 65. Your may be permanently unable to switch to this important entitlement if you are ill. You may even be able to acquire this policy prior to age 65 on disability at better terms than marketplace insurance.
If you have an HMO, you need to realize this is an inappropriate plan for anyone with a chronic illness requiring routine care. Please change your situation ASAP. It is your duty to assure a valid authorization and referral are present from your primary care prior to each visit. If you do not have this, you will be charged a nonparticipating rate because your insurance will not cover this. This does not relieve you of the obligation to service.
If you are uninsured or participate in a "cost-sharing" arrangement, we are happy to quote you a cash rate for payment. Cash discounts apply only for payment in full at time of services.
